Once again, it's been way too long! I have a New Year's resolution to keep up with the blog a little better. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with my promise because our little "shorty" is growing up so quickly and there is alot to share!
We kicked off the holidays with a visit from "Poppy and CiCi". As always, we had an awesome time visiting them!
G seemed to giggle every time his Poppy was around!
We traveled to Maryland for Christmas. The trip took 9 hours, but Grant managed to hang in there. We were able to introduce G to many of his friends and family for the first time.
Grant met his Auntie Beth, her daugther Eliya and husband Brycen.
Grant even got his first "kiss" from an older woman!

Grant also was able to meet his new buddy, Cole, who is 6 weeks older then him.
I grew up with Sarah and Cam, and it will be awesome to get the boys together to play as they get older.
Sarah has an awesome blog, where she gives details of what Cole is up to...also, the up's and down's of being a new mom. I love to read it because it gives us a sneak peak of what Grant will be doing in 6 weeks. It also gives us a clue when to assemble our gear... When Cole started his exersaucer...time to get ours out of the attic! Looks like Cole is eating solids... maybe we should think about a high chair... Sarah, thanks for keeping us in line! Oh no! Cole is already in a "big boy" car seat... still, I'm still bracing myself for that one!

Grant finally meeting his "little" cousin Kathryn. She was born only 2 days after him. I have a feeling these two are going to have a lot of fun together when they grow up because they are so close in age.
All the cousins have met now and getting a good picture of them all together, well, just wasn't going to happen!

Of course, we had some good QT, with Camryn. Home on break from her first year of college at USC.
What most of you don't know about Camryn is she is a genius. Or at least that's what she tells us! She got a 3.8 her first semester of college... Go Cam!!

Santa managed to find us in Maryland this year!
Grant was a little overwhelmed and decided to play it cool and just sit back and take it all in.
He is sporting his new polarized shades his daddy got him. I guess there is no reason why any baby should have to deal with glare!
Looks like we need to go find some mountains to climb with Darren's new gear!

Maryland had a white Christmas this year! Grant loved watching the snow fall... and his Grandpa on the grill.

There is so much to look forward to this year as he grows.
We rang in the New Year with a Surf and Turf dinner party with friends Molly & Marshal, and Blair & Scott. We had a blast cooking Lobsters for the first time!
