The Home Stretch!

It's hard to believe that I've already entered the third trimester!! Time has literally been flying by, and before I know it August will be here. Hopefully the Carolina heat will go easy on us.

Our little guy is now the size of an Eggplant! The next piece of produce he will graduate to is a honeydew!
So far everything has been going very smooth. Hopefully Darren would say the same thing, after my recent crying outburst he had to witness while trying to pick out a mattress for the crib! He has been wonderful and is just along for the ride at this point!
I just passed my diabetes screening today... after two attempts. That nasty orange sugar drink just didn't agree with me the first time around, so I had to go back today and retest. I feel like I've been fasting all week, so I'm going to celebrate tonight with my favorite meal, pancakes and eggs!

Here is a update for how the whole pregnancy is going so far ~

How far along?
28 Weeks.... Now in the third trimester as of last week!
Total weight gain/loss:
Last weigh in, 15 lbs
Maternity Clothes?
Yes! I'm trying to talk my boss into allowing me to wear scrubs to work for the remainder of the time!
Stretch Marks?
No. But I thought I saw them a couple of times. The best was when a the print from a magazine rubbed off on my leg, and i was convinced it was stretch marks. I soon realized that it would be impossible for stretch marks to form the letter "G" on my leg....

Sleep?
Pretty decent. Very wild dreams these days!
Best moment this week:
Our hospital tour. It put me at ease knowing exactly where we have to go and what we have to do when we get there.
This comfort lasted for about 2 days until my Yoga instructor told me that a woman from my class gave birth in home in her kitchen while talking on the phone! Yikes!

Movement? Yes, he has started moving all over. He is getting bigger by the day and both of our Mom's have been able to see their grandson moving around.

Food Cravings: Eggs!! For those of you that are Twlight fans.... I think my egg cravings are very similar to Bellas' in Breaking Dawn... by the carton!!

Gender: Boy!! Although working in the medical field, I'm reminded daily that there is the slight chance it could be a girl. I just keep telling myself when I hear that, if that were to happen, we will roll with it! Darren has already accused me of buying our little guy baby girl onesies! Target seems to offer what I seem to think are "uni-sex" options for his newborn attire!

Belly Button in or out?
In...but I'm now able to see into the entire belly button, so it's just a matter of time before it's out.
What I miss:
Being able to keep my train of thought in a conversation. This makes my day to day job very interesting!!
Also, being absentminded all the time doesn't really help either!
A few weeks ago I was sent an email to a physician to apologize for a mishap. I wanted to say "sorry for any inconvenience".... well, must of spelled inconvenience wrong, and just let the auto spell-check do it's job, and never proof read before sending... so it automatically changed the word and I sent "sorry for the incontinence!!!" My customer must think I'm out of my mind. Luckily he hasn't said anything about it, or hopefully my HUGE error missed it all together.
What I am looking forward to:
June! It will be the grand finale for our traveling for the foreseeable future, and we are so excited to see our family and friends in Maryland and Kentucky!

Here are a few "Bump" pics
