Let's flashback to December 1st 2009, right around the time this was written, but kept hidden for obvious reasons.
At the time, our baby was the size of a Poppy Size!
We have a long way to go!
I got home from work and took a positive pregnancy test... and to be absolutely sure, continued to test only to get about 10 more positives! Any other woman looking for pregnancy tests in our area may have been out of luck because I think I cleared the stock at Target!
I lured Darren home a little earlier by asking to go for last minute sushi date, instead of going to the gym after work. From there, it felt like I paced around the house for what seemed like hours waiting for him to get home. Afterall, the last thing I wanted to do is break the news to him at work over the phone, who knows who would be in his office ...awkward.
So, I patiently waited, which IS NOT my strong-suit, but I managed.
When he walked in, I casually asked him why he forgot to put up one of our Christmas decorations.
This is what he found hanging on our mantle when he looked to see what I was talking about...

We are thrilled to become parents and can not wait to meet our son or daughter in August!!
