We had an awesome time exploring Ashville and the Biltmore last weekend. The Christmas decorations were absolutely beautiful and a great way to kick off the holiday season.
We stayed at the Grove Park Inn and got a room in historic part where it has been said that there is a "ghost" that roams the halls of the floor we stayed on! Luckily, we didn't have any ghost encounters!
There was a HUGE fireplace in the lobby.
People would actually walk into it to add new logs to the fire.

How I spent the majority of the weekend! I finally got a SLR (Canon Rebel T1i), and this was a great place to check out what it can do.
