Bristol Race

Darren and I went to the Nascar race in Bristol, TN and met up with several of Darren's old co-workers and customers. It was a very fun weekend, very glad that Darren took me along to experience it all, but may possibly have been my first and last Nascar weekend!

Must have forgotten my racing gear...

As you can see, Darren is not the only one who forgot his racing attire.  A man asked me at the race if I made his shorts out of our old curtains!! 

We ate amazing food the entire weekend! Darren and our friend Scott preparing dinner on Friday night. 

Fancy Nascar Cocktails.... this was very tasty. Reminded me a little of a more sanitary version of Hairy Buffalo in college!

We even got to meet up with my Uncle Breck, Aunt Donna, and cousins Christian, Paul and Philip who live near Bristol.  It was my cousins first Nascar race and they even made their own t-shirts...like my Uncle said "when in Rome"....
